  1. I heard on WGBH today that multiple preppy colleges now offer entire courses on The Wire. *SILENT-BUT-DEADLY FART*

  2. Well, now everyone commenting on this post has a Due South-referencing name. This is getting annoying...

  3. I've been meaning to comment on your new stuff. It's neat to see the progress you guys are making.

"The World Winds Down" really reminded me of a Lush song at its beginning before it took a sharp turn into its own song. I dunno, I'm no music critic, I can barely form coherent sentences most times.

I like the "Tournament of Hearts" cover too.
Anyway, I'd add a Due South reference just to give into peer pressure here but I think I may have seen five minutes of it a long, long time ago.

Anyway, looking forward to more stuff from you fine folks.

  4. Thanks J. Hoff! I'd been meaning to comment on your comment but just got around to it now.

Good to know you're still listening, and any comparison to Lush is always a direct line to the disturbingly mushy center of my songwriting heart... or something.

Much more to come, we have a bass player now who is very good and we've been writing a shitload of new songs and further refining the ones we already had.

Also, why haven't we seen you lately? It's been ages, let's hang out. Come over for band practice one night, we've got a tamborine with your name on it...

  5. Cool, I'm looking forward to hearing your new stuff then.
I'm working my seasonal job right now and for the next 2-3 weeks I'm on mandatory overtime. After that, yeah, I'll definitely be down.
